As the 2023 election approaches, the Bola Tinubu/Kashim Shettima Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) on Wednesday said the Labour Party presidential flag-bearer, Peter Obi, cannot win Saturday’s poll because he ‘lacks a pathway to victory’.
Drillogist reports that speaking at a press conference in Abuja, Dele Alake, the Director of strategic communication of the All Progressives Congress (APC) PCC, said that the 2023 election is “a straight contest” between the candidates of the two main political parties: Tinubu of the APC and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).“There is no evidence and reality on ground anywhere in Nigeria as far as the presidential election is concerned that supports Mr. Obi winning this election.”“The Labour Party has no pathway to victory.
“This presidential election is going to be a straight contest between the candidates of APC and PDP and from more studious and rational polling, our candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is coasting home to victory,” Alake said.
