Nigerian singer, Iyanya has spoken out following the backlash he received after pushing a fan off stage.
Drillogist reports that during a concert in Akwa, Iyanya had pushed a male fan off stage. In the viral video, the male fan kept slapping his face with money while spraying him.
This provoked the ‘Kukere’ singer who pushed him off stage.
Breaking his silence following massive backlash, Iyanya via his Twitter page explained the ugly incident.
According to him, the guy kept slapping his face with money and he tried to stop him but his efforts proved abortive.
Iyanya stated that no amount of money should one intends to spray on others, should give them right to disrespect them.
“The guy kept slapping my face with the money and I tried to hold his hand and he continued.
First no matter how much you are spraying, don’t slap someone with it, that’s disrespectful”.
