Controversial Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, a Nigerian street musician, will be charged in court today, Monday, April 3rd.
Portable was detained by The Ogun State Police Command, according to Drillogiston Friday.
The musician was arrested only days after he declined to accept a police invitation. On Tuesday, videos showing the street artist cursing and roughhousing several Nigerian police officers appeared on the internet.

After the viral video, the Ogun State police command issued a 72-hour ultimatum to the “Zazoo” crooner to submit himself to the nearest police station.
Portable, as usual, did not report to the local police station and was arrested and jailed in the State Police Headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta.
Commenting on the incident, Abimbola Oyeyemi, Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Police, said that the musician had been detained and was now being held at the state police headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta.
According to Mr. Oyeyemi, the Zazu crooner was jailed after turning down five invites.
The musician, who is presently detained awaiting trial, will appear in court today.
