Award-winning Afro beats musician David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has officially broken his silence in order to speak about his recovery journey following the death of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Davido posted a sweet video of himself on Instagram a few minutes ago, followed by a statement detailing how he fared when he was absent from social media.
Davido revealed the title of his album, TIMELESS, in the description, which he chose to symbolize his period of mourning and recovery.
The father of three thanked his followers for their love and support, which kept him going.
He wrote, “There is a time for everything. A time to Grieve and a time to Heal. A time to Laugh and a time to Dance. A time to Speak and A time for Silence.
Thank you to everyone out there for your love and support that has held me down. All the love and messages while I was away, the gifts sent, the concerts you all threw! I appreciate it all. Today, I want to remind you all that what is now Timeless, was once new. It’s time for new.
