The politician presided over a gathering in Ikeja that was attended by stakeholders, artisans, members of the Igbo community, and high-level participants in Alimosho politics.
According to spokeswoman Sola Fasure, Aregbesola asked them to conduct door-to-door campaigning to guarantee victory.
The former Osun governor stated that if Sanwo-Olu wins, President-elect Bola Tinubu will draw more development.
The minister asked them to set aside their differences and work together to ensure the party’s electoral victory.
“We cannot allow those who have not been with us from the days of the fight from SDP, AD, AC, ACN and now APC to grab what belongs to us.
“We fought tirelessly for the success that we now enjoy in Lagos,” he continued.
Aregbesola urged members to avoid “those stoking the fires of conflict” who are attempting to undermine the party.
