In a raid on the Maiyanga hamlet in Plateau State’s Bokkos Local Government Area, gunmen killed three people.Two further victims of the attack, which happened on Sunday night, had various gunshot wounds.
According to reports, the victims of the shooting are being treated at an unidentified hospital.The incident occurred Sunday night when the gunmen attacked the Maiyanga neighborhood and began firing erratically, leaving three individuals dead and two more injured, a source claims.He acknowledged that the police had received a report of the attack on the neighborhood but had not yet arrived since the shooters had already departed.In order to prevent such incidents, he pleaded with the government to send security personnel to the region.Calls made to Alabo Alfred, the Plateau State Police Command’s spokesman, regarding the incident went unanswered.
