Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the President-elect, has arrived in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital, ahead of the commissioning of state projects overseen by Governor Nyesom Wike.
Tinubu was met by the Governor and his entourage at the Port Harcourt International Airport on Wednesday morning.

According to Politics Nigeria, the President-elect’s jet landed at the airport at 10:03 a.m. on Wednesday.
Members of the National and State Assemblies, local government chairmen, and government appointees were among Wike’s retinue.

Supporters of the governor were also on hand at the airport to greet the President-elect, as they were permitted to enter the tarmac area under rigorous security controls.
The state administration is slated to host the President-elect at a formal dinner later that evening.
