Presidential aide Bayo Onanuga stated in a recent interview with the Nigerian Tribune that President Bola Tinubu is presently recovering from knee surgery he underwent in London, the United Kingdom.
Onanuga clarified that aside from the knee surgery, Tinubu does not have any other health issues and was in good physical condition leading up to the presidential campaign for the 2023 general election.
He explained that the surgery was not a secret and that President Buhari had visited Tinubu in London during his recovery.
Onanuga emphasized that Tinubu’s current challenge is related to the recovery from the knee surgery and not due to any other ailment.
