Manchester United have suffered a blow in their attempts to sign Sergino Dest from Barcelona.
Dest has been linked with a move to Man United before Wednesday’s transfer deadline day.
However, Man United have now suffered a blow as the defender has reportedly agreed to a season-long loan deal with AC Milan.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Dest will not be heading to Old Trafford as his loan move to Milan is “100 percent done”.
Dest will undergo his medical in Italy later today, while AC Milan will have the option to buy the 21-year-old for £17.3million next summer.
Meanwhile, Man United boss, Erik ten Hag, coached Dest during their time at Ajax.
Ten Hag was keen to sign a new right-back before the transfer window for Premier League clubs closed last night.
