Manchester United youngster, Ethan Laird, is on the cusp of joining Queen Park Rangers on loan.
A report on talkSPORT said that the 21-year-old right-back is set to join the Hoops for the rest of the season.
Laird spent time on loan with Swansea and Bournemouth last year.
Besides Benfica striker, Goncalo Ramos could be on his way to Newcastle United
The Toon have been linked with a £25m offer for Ramos in the last few days and football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the Magpies will make an official proposal to the Portuguese giants.
Ramos scored against Newcastle in their 3-2 defeat in pre-season and has been linked with a move to PSG.
