Turkish Super Lig champions Trabzonspor are still working to sign William Troost-Ekong on a season-long loan with an option to buy from Watford.
Troost-Ekong has been frozen out at the Vicarage Road and is open to moving elsewhere.
The centre-back lost his place in the team after returning from the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations early this year.
Trabzonspor recently made an offer for the Nigerian but it was turned down by Watford.
Troost-Ekong has played in the Turkish Super Lig in the past.
The 28-year-old was in the books of Bursaspor in the 2017/18 season before moving to Serie A club, Udinese.
