Mixed feelings have been expressed by online users in response to the footage of popular Fuji music singer K1 De Ultimate publicly rejecting kisses from his wife, Emmanuel, at his birthday party.
The musician, who turned 66 on Saturday, March 3rd, had a birthday celebration from his wife as a surprise.
His wife Emmanuella, with assistance from family members, organized the surprise celebration at the Radisson Blu hotel on Victoria Island in Lagos.
K1 is seen vehemently rejecting kisses from his wife, Emmanuella, in a viral video from the birthday celebration.
The singer’s wife tried to kiss him, but he resisted, as can be seen in the video, as they made cheers with their glasses.
Though not everyone is interested in public displays of affection, some people believe it is not a big deal. Some further speculated that the artist may have declined the kisses in order to prevent lipstick smudges from appearing on his lips from his wife.
