The Jigawa State Police Command apprehended two individuals, Abdullahi Salisu Gawo and Garba Bulama Audu, in the Gumel Local Government Area for harboring a notorious armed robber and kidnapper. The arrest was made by a team of policemen from the Sule Tankarkar Police Station, with the suspects playing crucial roles in aiding the wanted kidnapper.
Abdullahi Salisu Gawo served as a motorcyclist, while Garba Bulama Audu worked as a laundry man for the fugitive. The statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Abubakar Isah, on Monday, highlighted their roles in assisting the wanted individual.
The notorious armed robber and kidnapper, who is at the top of the Command’s wanted list, remains at large. Efforts are being intensified to locate and apprehend the fleeing suspect.
