Central African Republic canceled their appearance in a friendly against the Flying Eagles on Tuesday night, and Kawkab Athletic stepped in as a last-minute replacement.Mohammed Aminu gave the Flying Eagles the lead in the opening minute.In the 17th minute, Ibrahim Mohammed doubled the lead; ten minutes later, Samson Lawal expanded the margin.Nine minutes before halftime, Kawkab Athletic cut the deficit in half.
The Flying Eagles also got goals from Augustine Njoku, Jonathan Nicholas, and Emmanuel Uchegbu.On Thursday, the seven-time African champions will fly to Cairo, Egypt.
