Ubi Frankin Reacts After Getting Criticized For Tattooing Davido’s Late Son‘s Nickname On His Hand

Politician and artist manager, Ubi Franklin, has reacted after getting dragged for getting a tattoo to honor singer Davido’s late son, Ifeanyi.

Recall that Davido’s son, Ifeanyi, passed on after getting drowned in a private swimming pool in Davido’s house at Banana Island on the 31st of October, 2022.

It was gathered that the child was rushed to the hospital after he was extracted from the swimming pool, but it was too late, as the doctor pronounced him dead.

On Friday, the 13th of January, 2023, Ubi Franklin took to his social media page to share the tattoo he got in honor of Ifeanyi.

The tattoo had Ifeanyi’s nickname ‘Popsicle’ on it alongside the date he passed on. After he made the post, it caused a stir among netizens who shared their thoughts on it.

While a few people think it’s thoughtful of him, a lot of people chided him for taking such a decision. They accused him of chasing clout with the tattoo as he has his own kids and has never tattooed any of them on his body.

Ubi Franklin took to his page to reply to this, saying that people should keep their opinion to themselves as he doesn’t live his life on people’s terms.

He also stated that people now see real love as chasing of clout because they are pretentious about showing real love.

“Keep your opinion to yourself. I don’t care about how anyone feels about how I have decided to live my life. Just focus on you and leave me and those I have decided to love out. Because we are so pretentious about showing real love, when we see real love, we call it clout,” he wrote.
