Super Eagles and Napoli forward player, Victor Osimhen has given an update on the injury he suffered in the game against Liverpool.
The Nigerian was substituted in the first half of the game against the Reds in the opening game of the UEFA Champions League. There was a bit of fear among the supporters of the Super Eagles and Napoli after he was stretched off the pitch.
A Nigerian journalist based in Germany, Oma Akatugba was at the stadium in Italy to watch the match. However, he confirmed on his official Twitter account on Thursday, September 8th, 2022. According to him, Osimhen did his ultrasound today and he is expected to go for MRI Scan he might be out for at least 14 days.
Osimhen missed a first-half penalty against Liverpool, he has been a key part of the Napoli team since he completed a move to Naples.
