One of the Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ recently evicted housemates, Doyin has offered an apology to fans for defending Sheggz concerning his abusive attitude towards Bella.
Recall that the reality star had confidently defended her colleague during an interview with media personality, Elozonam she granted shortly after she left the reality show house. She had categorically stated that she didn’t believe Sheggz was abusive towards Bella based on what she saw between the duo in the house.
The reality star also expressed displeasure and confusion as to why people would only choose to focus on the negative side of the footballer and completely ignore his good side and how well he treats his lover, Bella. She then reveal that she doesn’t think the number of times Sheggz has being abusive to Bella is more than the times he has been good to her.
The video clip of the interview which made rounds online triggered several comments from netizens, many of which didn’t seem pleased with Doyin’s statement and criticized her for defending abuse.
Speaking at another interview, the fashionista referred to her comment as miscalculated, uninformed and loose. She apologized to fans for saying it while noting that her opinion had come from the perspective of what she saw during her stay in the house and she wasn’t aware of Sheggz’s abuse untill she got a hold of her phone and spoke to people.
She offered her sincere apologies to anyone who might have been triggered by her comment while adding that regardless of how good a man treats a woman, it doesn’t give him any right to abuse her in any form.
