Reality TV star, Hazel Oyeze Onoduenyi, better known as Whitemoney has sparked reactions from netizens as he revisits his clash with the Grammy winner, Burna Boy.
Recall that in February 2022, a feud seemingly ensued between the duo after a video of Whitemoney and Burna Boy at a club surfaced online. Reports had it that Burna Boy snubbed the BBNaija season 6 winner which sparked controversy online.
Whitemoney further strengthened the report by unfollowing Burna Boy on IG at the heat of the saga.
However, in a recent development, Whitemoney during an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo gave a different narrative as to what occurred.
He claimed that he wasn’t snubbed by Burna Boy, rather it was his own bouncers that stopped him from getting to Burna Boy.
According to him, when he made an attempt to reach out to Burna Boy, his bouncers intervened and advised that they leave the arena.
Whitemoney made it clear that he wasn’t bounced by Burna Boy’s bouncers and affirmed that he wasn’t even sure the singer saw him at the party.
In his words:
We were at a party, and I heard that Burnaboy had just walked in. I’m a huge fan of Burna; I left where I was because I wanted to go and greet him. I asked if I could say hi to burna, and they asked why? That was when I just withdrew, so people thought it was his bouncers bouncing, me, but it was my bouncer that told me, ‘Oga make we comot for here’.
I’m not even sure Burna saw me, because I don’t think he’ll see me one on one, and he’ll tell me not to greet him. I know how many times I’ve told my bouncer, let them come greet me, if I lose them, would you pay me?
These are the people who put me there. It is people who voted. It’s just like politics; if we vote you, we need access to you so if we vote you and we’ve made you a millionaire and you’re coming out to do buga.
