England captain, Harry Kane has predicted the Three Lions to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Kane believes the Three Lions can go one step further in Qatar and win their first major silverware since lifting the World Cup back in 1966.
England are in Group B at the World Cup and will face Iran, USA, and Wales.
“We’ve to believe we can win it [2022 World Cup],” Kane told Sky Sports.
“I looked back at England ten, fifteen years ago and it was almost [like] we were scared to say we wanted to win it. I think one of the big shifts that we’ve made over the last 4 or 5 years with Gareth [Southgate] isn’t being afraid to say that.
“Look, we are going to this tournament to win it because we believe we can. It would be wrong to think otherwise. What is the point of going to a World Cup and not believing that you can bring the trophy home?
“It’s going to be tough and we are going to have to work extremely hard, have a little bit of luck and have a lot of things go our way to achieve that.”
